Christian leads the W&VC in an exploration of the huge musical theatre sensation that is Hamilton. Along the way we drink three fantastic cocktails, play a game of ‘Cards Against Hamility’ and are joined by guest celebrity Rod Stewart for a quiz.
COCKTAILS FOR THIS EPISODE
Chris brings a ‘Tricky Dick Ricky’ a refreshing take on the classic Gin Ricky.
Recipe: 1 shot each of Gin, Bacardi Rum, and fresh lime juice, ½ shot sugar syrup, pour over ice in a highball glass and top up with soda.
Christian brings a yummy ‘Long Island Lemon Tea’
Recipe: 1 shot each of Vodka, Tequila, Triple sec, Spiced Rum, Gin and Passion Fruit pulp, shake with ice in a cocktail shaker then pour over ice in a tall glass. Add about 150ml of Iced Lemon Tea and top up with Ginger beer.
David brings an ‘Aaron Burr, Sir’ (Boston Tea Party)
Recipe: 1 shot each of Tanqueray Malacca Gin, Earl Grey Tea infused Gin, and fresh lemon juice. ½ shot each of Carpano Antica Formula (type of vermouth Rosso), Dolin Vermouth Blanco and a dash of Angostura bitters. Poor over ice in a highball glass, top up with tonic or soda and add a slice of lemon
