Wine & Vinyl Club
Welcome to the Wine and Vinyl Club. A podcast for people who love drinking wine and listening to good music. Once a fortnight David, Chris and Christian discuss an album from an eclectic mix of classics from the Beatles through to Harry Styles. Then the fun part, we attempt to match a bottle of wine to the album and also sample a value wine and occaisionally a cocktail too. We hope to encourage our listeners to try something different when drinking or listening to music and most importantly have a laugh with us.

S2 Ep6. Thriller by Michael Jackson
Are we thrilled by this album? What wine do you bring to match the biggest selling album of all time? Join us to find out as the Wine & Vinyl Club tackles Thriller by Michael Jackson.
To match Thriller, Chris brings a $40 bottle of Monsanto Chianti Classico 2018. Light to medium-bodied, with cherry, dried herbs, and some meaty char on the nose. https://www.castellodimonsanto.it/en/wines
Christian ‘accidentally’ brings two bottles of Chenin Blanc. A $29 Mark Bredif Vouvray from the Loir Valley, France. A vivacious white. Ripe and refreshing with notes of white peach and grapefruit. https://bredif.deladoucette.fr/ https://www.winestar.com.au/marc-bredif-vouvray-classic-2020
Then to compare the West Australian take on this grape, Christian brings a $19 2020 Lancaster Chenin Blanc. A beautiful example of Swan Valley Chenin lifted aromas of passionfruit and crisp green apples. https://lancasterwines.com.au/contact.php
