Wine & Vinyl Club
Welcome to the Wine and Vinyl Club. A podcast for people who love drinking wine and listening to good music. Once a fortnight David, Chris and Christian discuss an album from an eclectic mix of classics from the Beatles through to Harry Styles. Then the fun part, we attempt to match a bottle of wine to the album and also sample a value wine and occaisionally a cocktail too. We hope to encourage our listeners to try something different when drinking or listening to music and most importantly have a laugh with us.

S2 Ep7. Post by Bjork
Come on an adventure with the Wine & Vinyl Club as we deep dive into Post by Bjork, an experimental, emotional, and totally unique album.
To match Post, David brings a “Possibly Maybe” cocktail using the Japanese spirit Shochu. This is based on a Japanese Chu-Hi.
Recipe: 2 shots Koyomi Shochu and a drizzle of apple syrup poured over ice in a hi-ball glass. Then top up with Yuzu soda to taste. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etVCWfqApoM
Christian brings a terrific bottle of Asabiraki Suijin Junmai Sake. https://www.tippsysake.com/products/asabiraki-suijin
Chris takes a more orthodox approach, or does he? Bringing an Austrian red, 2016 Nittnaus Blaufrankisch Kalk & Schiefer. https://www.weinfurore.de/blaufraenkisch-kalk-schiefer-2018-hans-u-anita-nittnaus-neusiedlersee-burgenland-austria
